In case you haven’t noticed, video is huge. More and more organisations are utilising video to generate leads and engage audiences – If you’re looking to capture the same popularity, here’s our top tips for creating a video to bring in new custom.

Do your research. Make sure you know what your audience want – do research into your target audience first so you can truly create a video made for them, tailored to their wants and needs.

How long should your video be? Not too long! An ideal video length is just 1 minute, especially if you’re paying to promote your video on social media channels. And make those first few seconds count! With a lot of video out there, you’ve got to make an impact quickly!

Make it integrated. Your video should play one part in a fully integrated campaign, both offline and online, to truly make an impact with your audience.

Make tracking count. Yes, likes, comments and shares are important, but it’s also key to check your video play time and engagement, plus the sentiment of comments. Only by reviewing detailed insights can you truly establish what makes your customer tick.
