Virtual Reality is the new big thing. VR technology is becoming cheaper to invest in and can offer a great channel for communicating your products and services. So how can you make VR work for you?

Tell a story. The gimmick isn’t enough – Like other marketing channels, VR needs to tell your customer a story and take them through a journey. So plan your story carefully! Also consider timing – If people will experience your VR whilst out and about, 3-5 minutes is more than enough – if at home, the story could be longer.

Think about the correct technology. Depending on what you want your VR experience to do and achieve, you may need to think carefully about which available technology would suit your needs. And with technology changing and developing so frequently, don’t invest too quickly – Test different equipment by working with digital and video partners on development of your story.
